WASHCOMS Uganda

WASH Coms Uganda is a registered private company, operational since 2021 and has offices in Wakiso (Uganda). The company is progressively building its national presence and has been able to build up a large network of media specialists in the water, sanitation, health and environment sectors. We aim to become a leading media company in Uganda, providing information, education and awareness on the importance of WASH and environmental conservation. Our mission is to raise awareness and educate the public on the importance of WASH and environmental conservation, and provide practical solutions to improve WASH climate adaptation and mitigation strategies in Uganda

Our Approach

Our approach focuses on 4 pillars Education, Advocacy, empowerment and partnerships. We recognize that effective community participation in wash service delivery can only be achieved through progressive interventions that seek to create a WASH-literate society. (Awareness ).

Providing information resources and tools for community adoption thus enabling pathways to sustainability, and capacity building through training is important for knowledge transfer to increase productivity and accountability, and Leverage resources and expertise through partnerships that contribute to rural WASH systems change
